Georgia Heart Institute's left ventricular assist device (LVAD) program is helping heart failure patients not only survive but also enjoy excellent quality of life. This Valentine's Day, all NGHS patients, families and staff are invited to a celebration of the program and its patients: We call it VADentine's Day! 

• 11:30 a.m. - Lunch opens
• Noon - “Five Years On: LVAD Lifesaving Therapy at Northeast Georgia Medical Center” with Ugochukwu Egolum, MD, Program Director, CV Disease Fellowship and Director, LVAD Program
• 12:30 p.m. - Patient panel (Moderator: Julie Lewis, RN, LVAD educator)
• 1:15 - Meet-and-greet with LVAD patients
