Are you grieving a loss that feels overwhelming or difficult to process?
Join us for a supportive, trauma-informed group designed to help individuals cope with the unique challenges of grieving a traumatic loss.

This group offers a safe, compassionate space for individuals who have experienced a traumatic loss—whether sudden, violent, or unexpected—and are seeking healing, understanding, and connection.

Traumatic Loss Defined

A traumatic loss refers to the death of a loved one under distressing or violent circumstances, such as:

  • Accidents (e.g., car crashes, drowning)
  • Suicide
  • Homicide or violence
  • Overdoses

The emotional, physical, and psychological impact of these types of loss can be complex and intense. This group will focus on healing from trauma and offer effective coping strategies to support yourself through this type of grief.

What to Expect

  • Trauma-Informed Approach: Understanding and sensitivity to the effects of trauma.
  • Peer Support: Sharing experiences and connecting with others who understand.
  • Coping Tools: Practical strategies to help manage intense emotions and navigate grief.

Please note that this group is a six week series and you are asked to attend all six weeks.  Registration is limited and there will be a telephone interview prior to group.
