Objectives:

• Attendees will appreciate the main changes in the 2026 Dylipidemia Guidelines as compared to the previous 2018 guidelines.

• Learners will understand the mandate for measuring lipoprotein (a) at least once in a lifetime and the selective use of apolipoprotein B (ApoB) to improve patient-specific risk assessment.

• Participants will recognize when to use coronary artery calcium (CAC) scoring to reclassify risk and guide treatment escalation for patients in intermediate-risk categories.
